we love it when dada has time off. because of the holiday, he got a four day weekend. we had promised xander that we would go to the san diego zoo because he loves elephants and he sees the commercials all the time. so, after a lazy day wake up on thursday, we headed to san diego. we didn't get there til about 3 but it was perfect. we got great parking and the weather was cooling down. we headed onto the bus tour first to see the whole park. after we asked xander what else he wanted to see and checked the map.
xander wanted to see the gorillas also.

the boys decided to run around in the elephant odyssey exhibit. they had so much fun here!
the family had a great day in san diego!
