well, we are home! i was missing the boys terribly. i hated that they couldn't come to the hospital. argh, you swine flu scare! but, the boys were happy when we walked through the door with their baby sister. she's a little night owl. she sleeps through the day! i thank God that my mom is here to help out and for family! so, here she is! more pics to come!

craziness!

well, we got one more day till little girl joins our family. since sunday, i've been very active so that she would come early. doesn't seem like it! on sunday after church, we headed home to buy a mattress for zack's bunk and then we went to knot's berry farm. since i will be in the hospital on thanksgiving, i wanted their famous chicken for my pre dinner! it was soooo good! gotta go back again!
on monday, i woke up and started assembling the boys bunk bed. yup, i put it together! pictures to follow. with all the ikea instructions and tools ready, i worked on it with occasional help from rc. the bending down part was a bit difficult. contractions happened and even went to the hospital for a scheduled stress test, but no baby.
today, will be the last minute things. making sure my mom knows how to not be tricked by the boys. they know how to manipulate espescially little man zack! i'm excited for tomorrow!

my baldies

so, it's been hot down here in so cal that i felt sorry for the boys. they sweat so much that i asked rc to shave their heads. we hung out diamond bar on saturday and tito pj was nice enough to shave their heads. xander didn't like the hair all over him! zack sat quite still for a boy with a poopy diaper! in the end, two bald heads!

the boys like rubbing their heads and each others. it's funny to watch them. i think the new haircut makes them both look older. i guess they are my big boys now so they can help with the little girl coming!

xander and i love ikea meatballs. rc not so much. so when either one of us feel like it, we tell dada that we are going on a date. i do some errands and make sure one place we go to is ikea. xander likes it cause he thinks it's all about him. no brother to bother him. as we were heading home i couldn't help but think of my other lil man. i don't know what he would like to do but i make sure to hold him when i get home. i can't wait to go on dates with him!

xander has been practicing his picture taking skills. he's been taking pictures of anything and everything around the house. they've been turning out pretty good except he likes to stick his finger in front of the hole that some pictures have a finger or a blur. i asked him if i could take some pics of them and he said ok. i said cheese right before each picture and this is what i got!

long overdue. .

i haven't blogged in such a long time. things around the house has been a bit hectic. .the boys act up more when they are hot! we don't have a/c except upstairs in the rooms and the boys like playing downstairs so it's always a struggle trying to calm down irritated toddlers. so far the pregnancy is doing ok. baby girl is healthy and a kicker! someone commented that she's a little mia hamm. the boys are excited to have a lil sister. they talk to her all the time and she moves around alot when she hears them. i got gestational diabetes again so that means a special diet again. i thought i was gaining weight after losing 10 lbs. but it was a false alarm cause my morning sickness is still around. as long as the baby is healthy i guess losing a lil weight for now is ok. i know i will gain it in my last month, hopefully.

xander had his birthday last month. we celebrated it up north. we tried to fly to guam or hawaii through the military, but it didn't work out. the time away was good, though. the boys enjoyed their time up there with everyone. xander also celebrated down in so cal with his cousin a.j. at pump it up! fun center. according to xander, he is a big boy now! no more bottles! no more diapers or pull ups! i start his preschool learning next week so we are both excited to do school at home.

zack has been growing up fast before our eyes. he can communicate better with us. he's a lil troublemaker though. he likes to copy everything his brother does and gets into trouble cause he does things he's not supposed to. we are working on his words right now. he can copy what you say and sometimes you can understand him. he's a little dancing machine! he loves to sing also.

water fun with uncle yek!

we went over to diamond bar on saturday and were surprised to see uncle yek at the house. it was a hot day so, uncle yek and the boys (also, auntie rachel) went out to the backyard to cool their selves off.

since the pool incident last week, xander doesn't want to go swimming for a while. this is the closest to getting wet outside we are doing for now. hot summers are fun, fun, fun!

well, august is just around the corner and it's gonna be xander's birthday. this year we are going to join xander and his cousin a.j.'s birthday together. it will save us some money and also help out of town relatives a second trip in one month. we did a little photo session in fontana for the invitations, and of course, little man had to join in. costumes were involved but zack chose to wear the glasses. i think it's cause i wear some. he doesn't look like a baby anymore. i guess he's practicing for when baby 3 comes!

the hair cuts!!!!

dada said that we could finally cut zack's hair, so i made appt. for zack and xander at the cool cuts for kids in buena park. the boys loved the place. they got to watch elmo, sit in cars, and then played trains and got a pop at the end! see their transformation. . .

san diego zoo

we love it when dada has time off. because of the holiday, he got a four day weekend. we had promised xander that we would go to the san diego zoo because he loves elephants and he sees the commercials all the time. so, after a lazy day wake up on thursday, we headed to san diego. we didn't get there til about 3 but it was perfect. we got great parking and the weather was cooling down. we headed onto the bus tour first to see the whole park. after we asked xander what else he wanted to see and checked the map.

the samurai boy

before we cut little man's hair, rc asked me to make him a samurai outfit because we tie his hair up like a samurai (no, not a ponytail!) so, on saturday morning, i took some pillowcases and decided to have a little photoshoot. here are a few pics. my facebook has the complete story of the little samurai. if you don't have facebook, ask me to send you a link to my picassa.
